Anna Silk
Anna Silk is Canadian actress who has been best known in Canada for the role in the film Bo. Silk is an actress from Canada born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Ilkay Silk was the child of Peter, an academic and Peter Silk, known as an accomplished actor, director, producer, playwright, educator and director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers some of her earliest memories of existence, such as watching and participating in rehearsals of shows. Silk featured in a number of commercials as a child. Her Bachelor of Arts was awarded from St. Thomas University, 1997. Theatre St. Thomas was active in at least two productions in the theater's early days, such as Seven Menus (1997) and The Kitchen (1999). Silk moved to Toronto Canada in the fall of 1999 to continue her acting. She then relocated into Los Angeles California during the next decade. Seth Cooperman was her future partner when she began to meet him in 2007 during an acting workshop in Los Angeles. After getting engaged in 2008, the couple were married in the year 2009. After she had converted to Judaism, they were married again in the Jewish ceremony on April 10, 2011. The ceremony was held in Fredericton. Silk Cooperman's son was born in May 2013, a son who was named Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron, her second baby was born on the 13th of May, 2016. Silk's television work is a part of Being Erica as Cassidy Holland for which she won the Gemini Awards nod in 2009. Silk was cast in the role of Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian television series Lost Girl in 2009. Silk was pregnant while filming of the final season episode. She announced the pregnancy to fans of the series in the Showcase preview of the Season Three special on January 6th, 2013. Silk confirmed via Twitter on June 20th, 2013 that the series was returning in the production. Season Four began on June 4th 2013 by Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN Cable News Network named Bo as well as Lauren Zoie Palmer, as the same-sex couple in Lost Girl to be one of their top TV Couples of All Time. E! Magazine declared that they were the top TV Couples in 2013 Entertainment Television. Silk is a huge social media following, including Facebook and Twitter because of its popularity.
