Holly was engaged three times. In the first time she was married, it was to Danny Quinn. They got married in 1991 and divorced in 1993. Jim Carrey met her in 1994 during his Ace Ventura Pet Detective auditions. The two actors didn't land the role however, they began to bond when they shot Dumb and Dumber. They got married in the year 1996. The marriage was only a short time before they split up in 1997. The year 2001 saw Holly got married to Francis Greco. A Canadian birthed investor banker. When she was married Greco the following year, she acquired Canadian citizenship. The couple got divorced back in 2014. Holly and her children live within Oakville Ontario Canada. Holly and her family which includes her father Grant and her mother created the A Fund, at Hobart College as well as William Smith Colleges, in 1992 to remember her brother Alexander. Holly recalled that Alexander was "a child full of dreams and dreams". Although he was only 14 at the time of his death, he had traveled extensively in Europe as well as Central America, lived in New York City and Los Angeles These experiences produced in him a fascination for architecture and archaeology.

Alaina was born on the 8th of November 1994 to Kristy the late J. J. J. Suddeth of Rossville, Georgia. Alaina's father is a Chattanooga-based tech. Her first singing experience began when she was three. After a vacation lasting a whole year, she sang in the children's choir. In addition to singing in the church and restaurants as well, she sang at holidays, family reunions and other gatherings, as well as anywhere else within a thirty-mile range. Alaina competed at her first Southern Stars Pageant at 8 and took the crown. Next year, she was selected to perform on the Kids stage of the Chattanooga Riverbend Festival. Performances on the stage continued to be enjoyed until the 12th birthday of her and she was one of the winners in a contest which enabled her take part on the stage. She traveled to Orlando, Florida, when she was ten years old to compete at the American Model and Talent Competition. She was the winner of the competition by beating 1,500 other kids. Alaina was a part of the Georgia Country Gospel Music Association children's choir. Alaina was 12 when she made her first and many subsequent trips to Nashville. She was a regular at Tootsie's bar and several other bars along Broadway. Alaina won the title of the first winner of Lake Winnepesaukah's WinniSTAR Youth Talent Competition in 2009. She composed and sang various songs, such as Leaving and Set Me Free, as well. Alaina found her inspiration to sing from Holly Witherow. Holly was suffering with a brain tumour. Alaina had worked at CiC's Pizza prior to her she joined Idol. She is a graduate of Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe Senior High School in Fort Oglethorpe Georgia.
